NOTE: The Extreme Ice Survey has done some excellent work documenting the drastic effects of global warming in arctic and mountainous regions, so the above message from Vimeo is mystifying (especially since I got the embed code from them!). Maybe there are economic as well as scientific motivations in EIS' work, but you can find the same short video (with narration) at Vimeo and many more at the EIS site.
The American Meteorological Society in Portland will soon be hosting a program with a panel of global-warming deniers who claim to be meteorologists. The whole array of EIS videos should be shown by way of introduction to give some context to the proceedings.
